One of the most appealing aspects of the title is how it looks. The game aims to challenge the player right from the offset, setting the precedent that despite the cutesy art style, this game is no walk in the park. You aren’t jumping on goombas and gliding to victory in this 2D adventure. Hollow Knight pulls no punches in terms of difficulty. This approach lends itself to the subtle storytelling and integrated mechanic tutorials. Though this game decides to go against the grain, offering a bunch of diverging paths, hidden secrets and lots of aspects that add to the story and in-game world that reward the inquisitiveness of players. I did not make this mod, installer or list.This game could have easily been an atmospheric but otherwise linear 2D adventure, taking cues from Limbo or Inside.
Here's a Google Docs list of all the mods in the Mod Manager / Installer: The Mod Installer should work on that version of the game. Solution: go to Steam > right-click Hollow Knight > Properties > Betas > 1.4.3.2 If the Mod Installer doesn't work, the current version of the game might not support it. At the start-up of Hollow Knight you will see text in the upper-left corner indicating the mods running you just installed. When installed, whille keeping the program running, start up Hollow Knight. In this list you can install, uninstall, enable, disable, and read info about all the mods. The program will download a list of public Holow Knight mods. (something like: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Hollow Knight) If asked, point to your Hollow Knight installation folder. (click: Manual download, Login, Slow download, Save File) Download the latest Mod Manager / Mod Installer (EasyMode mod requires it) Dying no longer loses geo or causes a shade to spawn. (with no charms, 2 hits now allows a spell or focus) Soul collection is increased by 6 per nail hit. Nail damage is increased, using the formula dmg = 8 + 5 * upgrades. Sitting at a bench gives 2 free lifeblood masks.
